Kingston time) and a barometer of 29.29 (0992 millibars). By 7 P.M. EDT (6 P.M. local time) the wind was estimated at 110 knots with gusts at 180 knots. The barometer was trending up and was at 29.47 (0998 millibars). The center of the hurricane is approximetely 50 miles south of Kingston moving to the west.
