Manchioneal destroyed

The community of Manchioneal in Portland has been totally devastated, following the passage of Tropical Storm Gustav, leaving hundreds of residents homeless. Power outages

Some residents in Papine and surrounding communities in St. Andrew are now experiencing power outages as heavy rain and wind associated with Tropical Gustav affect the island. The heavy rains started at about 2:00 o’clock this afternoon.
