Flash Flood Watch lifted
The Meteorological Service has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch for Jamaica with immediate effect, as the active Tropical Wave, which has been influencing weather conditions over the island, has moved away from the Jamaica area.
Throughout last night, most parishes experienced mainly cloudy conditions and a significant reduction in rainfall activity. Satellite imagery and radar reports indicate that the heavy rainfall associated with the Tropical Wave have decreased and is now located west of the island; therefore, conditions should return to normal with general afternoon showers today
