Eunice Tawney started GeminiOne™ Secretarial Services in September 2007 after realising there was a gap in the market in her local area for entrepreneurs and small businesses. She is no stranger in this field, having worked for the past 20 years as a Legal PA, to some of London’s top law firms.

Her business ambition is to provide secretarial services, aimed at small businesses in the Home Counties, with the view to expand nationwide over the next three years.

GeminiOne™ Secretarial Services is the company I have set up to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses with their back office requirements. I use the word company as I will be turning the business from a sole trader to a Limited Company with shareholders and investors.

There are a number of entrepreneurs who require secretarial assistance and for whatever reason are not in a position to employ someone on a full-time basis or rent premises. My role is to assist these entrepreneurs with their secretarial requirements. We will be introducing accountancy, consultancy, HR, IT and book-keeping services, when we have sufficient resources to employ the relevant personnel.

I work with Virtual Assistants on an associate basis to assist me with the work.

The services currently provided are as follows:

Entrepreneurs

* Word Processing - Typing letters, Reports, CVs, Manuscripts and Diary Management, scanning and photocopying.
* Audio and Digital transcriptions.
* CRM – Customer Relationship Management – Using this software, entrepreneurs can keep all their sales, marketing and contacts in one place. This will be upgraded shortly to include access on the go via their Blackberry.

Small Businesses

The same services as for entrepreneurs, but would attend their offices to carry out the work.

I also include Legal Secretarial services for lawyers setting up their own practices and law firms requiring cover during busy periods.

I have recently added a new service, which is voiceover work this is primarily aimed at large corporations for corporate videos, audio visual slide shows, training videos, documentaries, sales promotion tapes and point of sale advertising.
