This means that all applications for export and import licences and/or per- mits must be submitted to the Trade Board Limited via the JSWIFT platform at www.jswift.gov.jm. Register, log in using credentials provided via email, and apply. ENTITLEMENTS Each returning resident is entitled to the importation of two motor vehi- cles (except two cars) per return. For example, one (1) motor car and one (1) light commercial vehicle or two (2) light commercial vehicles or one (1) light commercial vehicle and a regular commercial vehicle. The special age limit afforded to re- turning residents for the importation of any vehicle is ten (10) years. The vehicle must be owned for at least 6 months prior to the permit application. Used vehicles being imported from Japan, USA, UK, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates must be in- spected and sanitised by Autoterminal Japan Limited (ATJ). Invoice from supplier or the Bill of Sale 3. Registration Certificate, Certificate of Title or Japanese Export Certificate detailingmodel, year, VIN, colour, seat- ing capacity, unladen weight etc. 4. One type of valid identification & proof of citizenship. For example: • Valid Jamaican passport or non-Ja- maican passport endorsed with an Unconditional Landing stamp(biodata page) • Jamaicandriver’s licence (both sides) • Jamaican voters’ identification card (both sides) 5. Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) 6.
