EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT Core Functions: The Executive Assistant manages the Chief Executive Officer’s Office to ensure that all agreed projects and activities are property planned for and executed. The incumbent properly equips the Chief Executive Officer with reports, materials, speeches and visual presentations for meetings. The incumbent ensures efficient response to action items from Board and Board Committees meetings and all correspondence and telephone calls. A. Specific Knowledge: • Knowledge of the business. • Excellent command of the English Language. • Proficient in use of Computer Applications (Project Management, Microsoft Suite etc.) B. RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team • Prepare and submit all financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis • Interact with internal and external auditors with the aim of supplying both physically and explanatory information • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders • Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s financial position, identifying where possible market segmentation in which the organization can benefit • Drive strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team • Advise on long-term business and financial planning • Identify and evaluate risks to the organization, property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to avert or control risks • Review and guide all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures • Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with policy makers, and other stakeholders to help achieve the financial goals of the organization KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and or Economics. • At least 10 years’ experience in the finance industry with examples of demonstrated proven track record in the field • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to foster harmonious relations. • Excellent computer skills, particularly Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite. • Familiarity with the online Accounting platforms • Possess a keen eye for details • Ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement. • Comfortable operating in changing environment with capacity for agility. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proficient in English. • Work experience as a cleaner, room attendant, or housekeeper, etc. ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Respond and attend to Curator’s repair requests. • Communicate with Curators to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a Hospitality environment. LAUNDRY SUPERVISOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Ensure quality controls are in place and compliance is maintained with quality assurance standards for all linen processes. • Ensure laundry supplies are ordered and controlled and prepare productivity report. • Supervise and monitor the performance of the Laundry Attendants. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • Associate Degree in Tourism and Hospitality or General Management from an accredited institution. • Certification in Supervisory Management from a recognized institution. • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a Hospitality environment.
