Programme Associate
Category: Management
Description:
  • Maintain financial records for the Programme and assure accuracy of budget lines, records, receipts, payments, balances, expenditures and other data for day-to-day transactions.
  • Coordinate monitoring of the expenditures of the Programme ;
  • Assist in the implementation of UNAIDS rules, procedures and regulations
  • Perform basic secretarial tasks e.g. arrange appointments and meetings, filing and maintain the calendar
  • Support the operation of UN Joint Team and Theme Group on HIV/AIDS
  • Participate in office work planning processes and monitor the implementation of the Office Work plan, including drafting of progress reports.
Qualifications:
  • Higher Education in Public Administration/Management, Public Health, Social Science or International Relations. A Masters Degree will be an additional advantage studies;
  • Experience in working with international organizations, preferably the United Nations.
  • Good knowledge of UNAIDS core values and competencies would be an asset.
  • Work experience in a multi-cultural society.
  • Experience working with people living with HIV/AIDS, vulnerable and high risk populations.
