Provide support in the effective management of the Treasury & Trading operations of the firm
Management of the firm's Treasury functions to achieve agreed Asset & Liability Management (ALM), liquidity, funding and investment targets
Ensuring the generation of maximum profitability at minimum risk
Managing the assigned portfolios of the firm's investment, funding and liquidity activities to achieve optimum funding positions, while profitably employing surplus funds
Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the firm's risk management framework
Processing all trading and transactions in accordance with prevailing Treasury Risk Management policies and practices
Analyzing each position, considering the risk as well as its reward potential, prior to the execution of transactions
Ensuring adequate, accurate and timely provision of returns and reports to facilitate the efficient and effective management of the firm's treasury functions.
Keeping abreast of regulatory changes in order to assist in enhancing existing policies and procedures
Driving the day-to-day achievement of portfolio growth in accordance with the firm's Profit Plan and Business Plan objectives.
Maintaining ongoing business relationships with past, existing and prospective customers and key personnel in other institutions
