Senior Technical Adviser : Careers

* For Business Development

To enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of community based agriculture and tourism enterprises by way of informing the project development strategy with respect to current market needs, trends and local development focus.
Undertake analysis of evolving trends and demands for products and services
Provide assistance in the areas of enterprise development and export competitiveness.
Guide the projects implementation strategy with respect to the Calls for Proposals.
Provide analysis of request for advisory services that have been received.
Provision of business capacity development for three target audience, namely (1) the rural micro and small scale enterprises (2) Business Plan Consultants and (3) REDI Project Management Team and other JSIF staff.

Advanced University Degree in Economics, Business Administration (MBA), Management or a related discipline
Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience related to rural business development, micro finance, competitiveness and value chain analysis in developing countries.
At least eight (8) similar assignments of preparing, formulating, evaluating (including conducting economic and financial analysis) business plans for either agricultural or rural tourism related projects with the last five (5) years.
At least three (3) years previous experience working with rural micro-to-small scale businesses providing either; business development services, training and/or technical assistance.
