Ensure that management, client services and office processes are enabled and enhanced through the strategic application of information systems, and information and communication technology solutions.
Develop and recommend information and communication technology, ICT, strategy and operational plans for the organization;
Develop and implement ICT policies and procedures including Disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure high availability of internal and external services;
Manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software,networks, and information systems;
Ensure that the department is adequately resourced with staff, equipment, material and financing; (including conducting cost benefit analysis for proposed solutions);
Meet with internal and external clients to ensure understanding of needs for the delivery of quality and timely services;
In consultation with the business ensure appropriate controls are implemented to protect the organization’s and its clients information assets;
Develop and maintain the IT budget for the organization.

A degree in MIS, Computer Sciences, or Systems/Network Engineering or closely related field;
At least five years management or supervisory experience in the IS/IT Industry,
At least three (3) years as a systems administrator in a Microsoft environment
Full working knowledge of networked computer solutions including design and implementation is essential.
Ability to work with industry standard hardware, operating systems, application software, and networks;
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Effective written, verbal, presentation and listening communication skills
Skill in internal customer relationship management and business development within a technical environment is also necessary.
Able to design and implement robust department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Project management experience is also required
Working knowledge of computer security threats and countermeasures
Experience in the financial industry will be an asset
