Agro-Processing & Marketing Officer : Careers

Provide technical support aimed at improving the capacity of the AIC, in areas of marketing and agro processing, for the successful execution of its value chains development strategy.
Provision of technical input in the marketing aspects of the development strategy of value chains
Conduct a review of the market and agro processing aspects, along with the whole cycle, of the Projects and the Subprojects funded by the ACPʼs Value Chain Innovation Facility as well as by the Public Private Partnership Value Chain Projects.
Collaborate with the consulting firm in the development of the Strategic plans for the selected value chains and other related consultancies
Provide Technical Support to the Agro-Investment Corporation in other relevant programme initiatives

Post graduate degree in agricultural economics, marketing, business administration / management, and/or economics.
A minimum of five (5) years work experience
Significant experience in the agro-processing industry both locally and internationally and in the marketing of fresh and processed roots and tubers and fruits and vegetables;
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities;
Experience working with internationally funded projects would offer a distinct advantage.
Candidates must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
