  • Responsible for all the Human Resource functions of the College
  • Manages the recruiting and selection process in consultation with the relevant Deans, Vice Principals and Principal
  • Oversees the performance management system for all levels of staff to ensure the College's strategic objectives are met
  • Identifies staff training needs and coordinates professional development workshops
  • Plans and implements employee social welfare and incentive programs
  • Prepares human resource plans and budgets for the various human resource activities
  • Manages the College's leave management and attendance systems
  • Develops, communicates and implements appropriate human resource policies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • At least three years working experience in the field of human resources
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws and the Education Act
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills
  • Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft word computer applications
