| Description: |
- Work closely with other members of the development team to design and develop dynamic and cutting edge websites and web applications for clients
- Provide expert advice towards choosing the best technical and creative solutions for each project
- Coordinate and participate in all facets of web design, development, maintenance, upgrades, quality assurance and compliance with established company standards
- Perform product design, development and implementation of software packages for web applications
- Integrate design templates and modules into Drupal and Joomla! (CMS) websites
- Design websites in collaboration with the development team, and in accordance with corporate visual standards and best practices
- Build or provide web-based solutions using a variety of internet (web-based) tools and technologies
- Consult with clients on applications, information and content structure, user interface, presentation and documentation in building websites
- Co-ordinate and communicate business and technical information to clients
- Develop the aesthetics, visual design and/or layout of website artwork, graphical user interface (GUI), and overall "look & feel" to enhance user experience and site performance

| Qualifications: |
- First degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or a closely related field from a recognized tertiary institution
- At least 3 years experience in web development and creative front end design
- Competency in usage of Joomla! Drupal, Wordpress and other content management systems, with regards to setup and full customisation
- Familiarity with Web 2.0 implementations and universal web standards and practices
- Knowledge of the use of FTP services/tools to deploy or update a website
- Sound knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and xHTML, at the least
- Comfortable knowledge of RDBMS and writing error free SQL commands
- Excellent graphical user interface design skills
