Stores & Inventory Officer

Description:
  • Management and storage of inventory items and the accuracy of the inventory management systems.
  • Ensure that all transactions conducted strictly adhere to the company's policies and procedures and that the inventory database is up-dated on a timely basis to reflect same.
  • Motivate and direct staff members to achieve prescribed performance targets within tight deadlines.
  • Receiving and storage of inventory
  • Control and reconciliation of inventory items
  • Supervising the Stores Team Replenishing of inventory items
  • Preparation and submission of reports
  • Management of the Stores budget
Qualifications:
  • A first Degree in Business or related discipline with at least five (5) years experience in stores and inventory management. An MBA Degree would provide a competitive edge
  • Working knowledge of Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interactive skills
  • Positive work ethic and team oriented
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills
  • A quick thinker with an analytical mind
