Description:
  • Handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls and appointments for the Executive Office.
  • Carries out assignments involving research to facilitate preparation of reports
  • Coordinates and attends meeting and takes minutes for reproduction.
  • Maintenance of adequate levels of stationery and office supplies within the Office
  • Prepares correspondence to Minister responsible for Electoral Matters in addition to other Ministries/Departments.
  • Assists in the coordination and execution of election related activities handled by the Director of Elections.
  • Responds to routine correspondence, both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Public Administration or equivalent
  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies from an accredited institution and/or Certified Administrative Management (CAM) Level 2 Certificate from the Management Institute for National Development (MIND).
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a similar level.
  • Designation of Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) is desirable.
