* For the Agro-Parks - To guide the investors in the Agro-Park to implement best practices relevant to each market-driven enterprise in order to obtain optimum returns on their investment.
- Assist the Agro-Park Manager in production planning based on market demand for competitive products and available resources
- Facilitate training and implementation of Good Agricultural Practices and other relevant quality management systems
- Conduct adaptive research that will facilitate investors in achieving optimum returns on their investment
- Facilitate the establishment of demonstration plots for transfer of technology using the Farmer Field School methodology

| Qualifications: |
- At least a first degree in the field of Agronomy from a recognized University
- Specialized training in Vegetable Production, Good Agricultural Practices and Agribusiness Management
- At least five (5 ) years field experience as an Agronomist with at least (3) years in a supervisory capacity
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills (emotional intelligence)
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Candidates must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
NB: The Agronomist will be hired on a contractual basis. Renewal will be determined by annual performance review and will be contingent on satisfying performance goals established for the position.
