| Description: |
- To assure the integrity of food safety and quality management systems in the production processes
- Monitor to ensure that regulatory, customers and plant standards are implemented and maintained.
- To work on shift, occasionally on weekends
|
| Qualifications: |
- BSc. Degree in Biochemistry/Food Chemistry or related discipline,
- Sound Knowledge of ISO, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, HACCP and other related food safety management systems;
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices, hygiene and sanitation principles;
- Knowledge of product development techniques;
- Experienced in conducting audits;
- Well-developed interpersonal, communications, analytical, diagnostic and time management skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Thorough knowledge of meat processing would be advantageous;
- Minimum of of three (3) year’s relevant production experience, with an understanding of product safety and regulations would be an asset.
