| Description: |
* Continuing legal professional development - Ensuring the efficient implementation on an Island wide basis of the Continuing Legal Professional Development (CLPD) Programme established under the Legal Profession Act.
- Developing plans in relation to the CLPD programme on an Island wide basis and coordinating the delivery of the programmes.
- Developing and implementing standards and requirements for CLPD for Attorneys.
- Working with the Accreditation Committee in processing applications for the accreditation of CLPD programmes and the evaluation of such programmes.
- Leading the development and implementation of systems designed to track the credit status of Attorneys for compliance with CLPD and maintaining records of credit status of Attorneys
- Developing the operational plan and budget for the department and ensuring that expenditure is maintained within the budget.
- Providing monthly reports to the Council on the operations of the Department including the compliance rate of Attorneys with CLPD.

| Qualifications: |
- At least five (5) years experience in curriculum development
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Strong ethical standards and a high level of professionalism
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ownership of a motor vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Jamaica.
- A legal background would be an asset
