| Description: |
- Coordinating all engineering activities to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Instituting technical solutions to equipment problems to enhance efficiency in the production process maximizing output.
- Ensuring that the fabrication of equipment parts and the repairs to machinery are completed according to specification.
- Preparing and submitting recommendations for maintenance and operational improvements, doing cost forecast for repairing and replacement of equipment.
- Coordinating the daily repair activities for assigned section in the Distillery and submitting daily progress reports on the repairs.
- Supervising direct and indirect subordinates and taking disciplinary action consistent with the Company’s disciplinary code and grievance procedures.
- Maintaining a safe and secure working environment, by ensuring the subordinates comply with health, safety and security regulations and the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that Company assets under your control are safeguarded and maintained

| Qualifications: |
- A first degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.
- Three (3) years supervisory experience in a similar position.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
- Knowledge of Auto-CAD Software would be an asset.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
