Training & Development Manager

Description:
  • Planning, organising, leading and supervising training and development for the organisation, for spearheading the career development programme 
  • Ensuring that the required skills and knowledge capacity exist within the Company to support ongoing strategies.
  • Identify training and development needs based on job descriptions, training needs analysis, and required competencies
  • Create and facilitate the development and implementation of a training programme for all employees and a performance management programme, for ongoing staff development.
Qualifications:
  • A Masterís Degree or equivalent work experience, 3-5 years in curriculum development in an academic setting or in a similar organization and/or 3-5 years in staff development.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Highly effective presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to be proactive, self motivated and self directed
  • Depth of practical experience in both technical and non technical training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Experience with on line training and development software Industry related experience (Pharmaceutical/FMCG distribution) would be an asset
