| Description: |
- Provide technical expertise int he research, design, development, testing and maintenance of database applications to facilitate the regulatory process, in accordance with the requirements of the Office
- Make recommendations for upgrades of all database systems as deemed necessary
- Provide technical expert assistance to end-user support, and ensure compatibility and efficiency of new and updated database systems applications through on-going systems monitoring
- Design and produce systems documentation that communicates both technical and non-technical information in an easily understood manner
- Organize and conduct user training sessions as necessary

| Qualifications: |
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, or its equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated database development and administration experience
- Knowledgeable in process, system and database design methodologies, such as Entity-relation, Object Oriented and Semantic Data Modelling
- Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of relational database design, installation and administration
- High degree of technical expertise to work independently on all elements of design projects
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical/diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience in the use of, and development in HTML and its variants, XML, visual Basic, JAVA, ASP.NET, C++, Windows, UNIX or LINUX
