* APPLICATION & DATABASE SERVICES - Troubleshooting and diagnosing customer related Enterprise Support incidents and bringing those incidents to resolution.
- Some functions may include the design, integration, testing, implementation, development and maintenance of these systems and solutions.
- Remote delivery of maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic services in line with agreed service levels and international best practices
- Execute database management tasks including backup and recovery, automation development, patch deployment and performance optimisation
- Documenting activities in customer environments, in detailed and clearly understood language, in a timely and consistent manner
- Ensuring speedy resolution of problems, and engaging in prudent and timely escalations as required with third parties
- Authoring and review of technical and incident reports as required
- Conduct technical assessments and provide consultation to customers and colleagues as required
- Normal working hours:- 8:00am – 4:30pm

| Qualifications: |
- A Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Possess minimum five (5) years related work experience in a progressive IT environment or equivalent
- Requires key technical competence in the following areas: Directory & Messaging Systems (LDAP, MS AD, MS Exchange), Database Systems (MS SQL, Oracle), Other (Oracle Application Grid, Exalogic, Symantec Client Management, Exchange Cluster, CA, Shell scripting in Linux, Unix and Windows)
- Training in information system technologies as evidenced by relevant certifications in the aforementioned
- In depth knowledge of application services environments
- Experienced in proven analytical and problem solving methodologies
- High level of attention to detail and quality
- Excellent time management with strong planning and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Expresses technical concepts precisely and professionally in both verbal communication and written reports with the effective use of various desktop productivity tools
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- An effective collaborator in engaging with clients, colleagues, senior management, vendors and other various stakeholders
- Shows initiative and demonstrates commitment to self-development
- Local travel requires that the candidate own and use his/her personal vehicle for site visits as may be required
- Regional/International travel may be required from time to time for training or customer site visits
