Description:
  • Assistant custodian of all students academic records and the university's seal
  • Central records facilitator for permanent academic information on current and prior students
  • Assure that the goals and philosophy of the Records Department and the University are considered in carrying out all duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring accuracy and integrity in degree granting
  • Assist with research and the utilization of technology to constantly improve the efficiency of the University Records
Qualifications:
  • At least a Master of arts or Master of Science degree in management, business administration or a related area
  • At least five years' of related experience working in a tertiary institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with faculty, staff, and student populations
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Work effectively as either a leader or a team member to ensure that departmental goals are met
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to comply with regulatory requirements with respect to student academic records and other documentation
  • Ability to keep all matters relating to the Records Department confidential
