Description:
  • Developing and implementing an effective public relations programme and communication strategies to inform, educate and make the citizens generally aware of the programmes and activities of the Council
  • Assisting them to participate in the design of the Development Plan for the Municipality. 
  • Arranging civic/ceremonial events, following up on complaints by the public
  • Ensuring that information is provided to the public under the Access to Information Act.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mass Communication /Public Relations OR
  • Three (3) years experience in Public Relations or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
