Community Relations Officer

Description:
  • Executing various public relations activities aimed at creating, maintaining and enhancing the company's corporate image within the region
  • Plan and execute community relation projects that will support our system loss mitigation initiatives
  • Plan public relations activities aimed at enhancing the company's corporate image within the region
  • Initiate contact with community leaders/organizations, and conduct sensitization meetings regarding JPS plan for communities in relation to its loss reduction activities
  • Identify and discuss with manager in the region, suitable and cost-effective community outreach projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in a Behavioural Science or equivalent qualifications
  • Training in the Principles of Social Work
  • At least three (3) years experience in public or community relations and social work
  • Customer orientation

  • Good communication (oral, written, presentation) skills
