| Description: |
- To assist the Resident Engineer in ensuring that works in WESTERN JAMAICA are carried out to the Employerʼs standards, specifications and schedule.
- Liaising with contractorʼs staff where appropriate, advising on authorised aspects of the works.
- Setting out / Checking / Inspecting / Recording /Reporting of levels and profiles of works to ensure conformity to drawings and specifications, along with other salient project management activities critical to timely and cost effective completion.

| Qualifications: |
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building or other relevant discipline and 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building or other relevant discipline and 3 years experience in a similar position.
- Certificate in Construction related discipline and 5 years experience.
- Other combinations of qualifications and experience in a similar position will be considered.
- Competence in the use of business computer applications including Word, Excel and Microsoft Project or similar software packages.
- Experience in the installation and testing of large diameter pipelines and water related infrastructure would be an asset.
- Strong project management, communications and reporting skills.
