• Responsible for the recruitment and staffing of the company; i.e. creation of job function document, placement of vacancy adverts, vetting of resumes and references.
• Responsible for the maintenance of and where necessary writing & editing of SOPs
• Training and development of Staff including orientation schedule, cross training, external training, short courses, and evaluation.
• Management of the appointment and separation of employees
• Maintenance of all HR related documents, employee files and employee handbook in accordance with current Jamaican Labour laws.
• Formulates Human resource policies and objectives
• Responsible for the investigation of complaints and overseeing of disciplinary actions
• Creates and monitors HR Budget (training etc)
• Responsible for the administration and liaise with the external providers of employee benefits (pension, life and health insurance)
• Identifies and monitors the corporate culture so that it supports the companies goals and fosters employee satisfaction
• Provide relevant reports to the General Manager
• Play a role in the company’s Social Outreach

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or minimum five years experience in a Human resource Management role.
• Excellent communication , organizational, and coaching skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Competent computer skills specifically Microsoft windows suite
