Responsible for the recruitment and staffing of the
company; i.e. creation of job function document, placement of vacancy adverts,
vetting of resumes and references.
Responsible for the maintenance of and where necessary writing & editing
Training and development of Staff including orientation schedule, cross
training, external training, short courses, and evaluation.
Management of the appointment and separation of employees
Maintenance of all HR related documents, employee files and employee handbook
in accordance with current Jamaican Labour laws.
Formulates Human resource policies and objectives
Responsible for the investigation of complaints and overseeing of
Creates and monitors HR Budget (training etc)
Responsible for the administration and liaise with the external providers of
employee benefits (pension, life and health insurance)
Identifies and monitors the corporate culture so that it supports the
companies goals and fosters employee satisfaction
Provide relevant reports to the General Manager

Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or
minimum five years experience in a Human resource Management role.
Excellent communication , organizational, and coaching skills
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Competent computer skills specifically Microsoft windows suite
