Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited, the leading Food Service Distribution & Manufacturing Company, located in Montego Bay, St. James is actively searching for a candidate to fill the position of Logistics Manager for
our Logistics department.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the management of all clearance
of inbound shipment. S/he is also responsible for managing the Companys
local logistics team encompassing all duties and approvals required for the
importation of raw material and goods for sale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the logistics team to ensure the achievement of cost, productivity,
accuracy and timeliness objectives.
Coordinate the importation of all products including items requiring import
permits and licenses, ensuring compliance with all current & changing
Implement service level agreements to match the highest standard of efficiency.
Manage & maintain the highest level of service delivery.
Collaborate with other CPJ business units to integrate logistics with business
systems and processes in: operations, manufacturing, customer service and
Liaise with Regulatory Agencies including but not limited to:
o MICAF/Veterinary Services Division/Marketing/Plant
o Jamaica Customs Agency
o Ministry of Health and Environment
o Coconut Industry Board
o Trade Board
o Bureau of Standards
o Coffee Industry Board
o Ministry of National Security/Canine Division
o Spirits Pool Association
To implement any activity, process or strategy that will improve the competitive advantage of the company, in consultation with the C-Suite.
Ensuring the maintenance of the good name and reputation of Caribbean
Producers Jamaica Ltd. in general through the demonstration and practice of
the highest standards of ethical conduct.
