CORE FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with tourism industry stakeholders to determine an integrated approach to innovation utilising technological and nontechnological features in areas such as service delivery, customer management, and distribution channels Monitors global, regional and national tourism trends Recommends the introduction of innovations related to the delivery of hospitality services Analyses tourism sector best practices and recommends new business models and approaches to industry stakeholders

Qualifications:
Required Qualification and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing Five (5) years’ experience in Business or Marketing environment in the public or private sector
OR
• BSc Business Administration/Tourism/ Hospitality/Curriculum Development
• Eight (8) years’ experience in Tourism Industry/ Hospitality Industry
• Professional certification and experience in Curriculum Development
OR
• Any other equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Knowledge/Skill requirement:

• Knowledge of the TEF Act, Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism and attendant regulations/polices
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and analytical software
