Description: Operations and Corporate Services

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director, Operations and Corporate Services has direct responsibility for Information and Communication Technology, Corporate Security, Records Management, Facilities Management, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Fleet Management and Administrative Services.

The successful candidate will be required to drive cross-cutting responsibilities for business operations and support services to achieve strategic goals, operational efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforcement of initiatives to ensure achievement of the strategic goals befitting the business model and give effect to the mission and vision of the company.
• Development of standard operating procedures to give effect to operational service for business and consumer solutions.
• Strengthening operations and corporate capabilities to take advantage of new and emerging opportunities.
• Researching, analyzing and preparing position papers to inform strategic decisions.
• Overseeing the supply chain management, maintenance of facilities and custody of company assets and utilization of resources to maximize efficiency and cost control.
• Providing management and leadership of information systems, security and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relating to all business segments.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:

• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production Management or related field.
• Certification in specialized functional areas.
• Training and experience in the research and analysis of economic and market data.
• Five to ten years’ experience in a similar position in the service industry.
• Knowledge of complex operations, management and financial systems and processes.
• Excellent strategic planning, co-ordination and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Sound knowledge of Facilities/Maintenance Management.
• Proficiency in the use of the computer and business enterprise management systems.
• Ability to prepare and evaluate proposals.
