Manage the Marketing and Sales Department to grow sales, and build brand equity.
Develop Marketing Strategy and manage staff to activate the Strategy.
Formulate a Marketing Budget to support the agreed Strategy and monitor the Marketing expenses.
Establish Performance Targets and monitor progress monthly, individually and across the department.
Monitor and understand the trade , the competition and the consumers to effectively implement the Strategy
Recommend creative and cost effective promotional activities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct marketing campaigns and promotions to promote brand awareness and influence consumption
Design and Develop marketing and promotional materials.
Maintain customer relationships and engagement programs and track customer satisfaction.
Generate marketing reports to management on a periodic basis.
Continuous evaluation of marketing programs to eliminate waste and evaluate effectiveness.
Stay updated with marketing trends and competitor activities.
Understand our Marketing Mix and that of the major competitiors.
Develop and manage promotional activities, including attendance.
Develop and execute brand management projects
Develop brand strength measurement instruments and execute periodic marketing audits
Develop and maintain relationships with Ad Agencies, promotors, and other service providers.
Maintain a marketing calendar of promotions, marketing events, advertisements (press, radio etc.)
Manage and coordinate distributor relationships, social media campaigns and internet marketing.
Monitor the activities and performance of the sale and marketing personnel
Ensure procedures and protocols are followed for the protection of the companies goods and other resources.
