The Cannabis Licensing Authority, CLA invites suitable applicants to fill the following positions:

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (MIS/IT 5)

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective operations of the Management Information System of the Ministry. The Systems Administrator must maintain an effective, secure, safe and up-to-date system by reviewing the technological environment, giving advice and making appropriate recommendations for the proper maintenance of the equipment and further development of the system.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (FMG/PA 2)

Under the general direction of the Director, Finance and Accounting the incumbent will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the Division in order to ensure the proper acquisition and utilization of funds and assets in accordance with the government policies, procedures and the Financial Administration and Audit (FAA) Act.

SENIOR DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION (GMG/SEG 5)

The Senior Director Human Resource Management & Administration works in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, CEO in providing leadership across the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) (’the Authority’) and ensuring that internal governance, change/transformation initiatives, planning, policies, supporting strategies, procedures and systems enhance Authority capability and capacity to deliver client focused, efficient, effective and value for money services. The Senior Director Human Resource Management & Administration plays a critical role in overseeing the development of the strategic plan, corporate plan, operational plan as well as the budget for the organization. Also, the Senior Director Human Resource Management and Administration will play a pivotal role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the Authority.

DIRECTOR, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS SERVICES (MIS/IT 7)

The Director, Information Technology (IT) and Business Services reports to and works closely with the Senior Director to manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT-enabled business support services and all information assets across the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) (’the Authority’) that will enhance the decision-making capacity and capabilities of the Authority towards the achievement of the CLA mandate.

SECRETARY 2 (OPS/SS2)

The Secretary is responsible for performing all secretarial functions, providing support and preparing the minutes of meetings for the division.
