A well-established organization seeks a competent and self-driven Finance Manager to lead an accounting team in the support of the strategic objectives of the Company. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate must possess conceptual skills coupled with good business acumen and will provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans.
Core Accountabilities
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. • Maintain the financial health of the organization • Ensure consistent compliance with statutory regulations and company policy. • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. • Ensure that the appropriate principles, practices and procedures are followed within the ambit of tight deadlines. • Develop, implement and monitor the department operational budget. Guide other departments in the development of their Forecast and budgets. • Liaise with External Auditors and lead the preparation for year-end audits. • Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
