• The Director, Human Resources Management and Development is responsible for the strategic alignment of the human resource and organisational policies to facilitate the achievement of the organisation’s objectives. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing Human Resource Management and Development Strategies to support the Corporate Objectives. The job holder is expected to create institutional systems which ensures talent management, staff development and productivity, as well as, maintaining harmonious industrial relations. The incumbent will also be responsible for the Agency’s payrolls.
NB: This is a travelling position, and as such, all applicants MUST possess a reliable motor vehicle and a valid Drivers’ Licence.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• NVQJ- Level 6 Certification or the equivalent Master’s Degree in disciplines such as: Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, Public Administration, Industrial Relations.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations, safety, and training, would be an asset.
• At least five (5) years relevant experience in a comparable position. The experience, ideally, should be gained from an industry/ environment similar to what prevails at the HEART Trust/NTA. This could include one or a combination of these: Public Administration, Higher Education Institutions, Financial Service Organisations or a Large Labour-Intensive Business Operation.
