Position Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate should possess an understanding of the strategic role of Human Resource Management in developing a high-performance team and organization.

Core duties and responsibilities:

• Strategic human resource planning
• Recruitment and Selection of Administrative personnel at all levels
• Performance Management
• Compensation and Benefits administration
• Policy development and documentation
• Identify, develop and deliver staff training
• Manage and implement change
• Manage employee relations activities
• Support and guide management and staff by providing sound HR advice and counsel
• Manage HRIS
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements

• B.Sc. in Human Resources Management, business or a related field; professional qualifications and accreditation would be an asset
• Three-five years’ progressive and relevant experience in Human Resource Management
• Well-developed people management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated experience with HR metrics
• Conversant with labour legislation and Occupational Health and Safety Code and Regulations

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels
• Team oriented
• Ability to thrive under pressure
