CORE FUNCTIONS:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing recruitment & compensation activities for staff; administration of staff welfare & benefits; organising health and safety programmes; compiling human resource statistics and safeguarding the integrity of the employee database.

The successful candidate should also possess:

  • Sound knowledge of interviewing and assessment techniques
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaica’s Labour Laws, including the Labour Relations Code and the LRIDA
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to
  • Occupation Health & Safety
  • Excellent counselling and human relations skills
  • Sound judgement and excellent administration skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Detail oriented and must be highly confidential
  • Excellent interpretative and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
• At least Three (3) years working experience in a related position
