A faith-based organisation involved in community and social work seek experienced individuals for purpose-filled opportunities in the following position. 

COMMUNICATION OFFICER

Responsibilities include assisting the Communications Director to create and maintain the organization’s public image, promoting positive relationships with congregants and other clients, the timely communication of key messages and assisting with electronic media marketing and the Church website(s).

PRODUCTION OFFICER 

Responsibilities include coordinating the activities related to the production of videos, films, and worship services and events in support of the organization’s vision and mission; including, but not limited to, implementing production schedules, engaging production personnel, and coordinating live and recorded production of services and events.

The candidate will be an independent worker who has good oral and written communication skills and is proficient in the use of computers, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. In-dept knowledge of Mass Communication and good knowledge of copy writing, editing and social media are also requirements for this post. 

The position requires a Degree in Communications, Social Marketing or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution, and two (2) years working experience in a similar position.

PRODUCTION OFFICER

The candidate will be an independent worker who has good oral and written communication skills and is proficient in the use of computers, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of production management and media production techniques, including research methodologies and trends, knowledge of stage management in a live performance, and in-depth knowledge of administration and scheduling techniques are also requirements for the post. 

The position requires a Diploma in Communication, Media or Production or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution, and two (2) years working experience in a similar position. 

Candidates will be maturing Christians with a desire to work in a faith-based organisation. Previous working experience in a volunteer-driven organization will be considered as a major plus.
