Cals Manufacturing Limited, a leading food manufacturing company located in Kingston, is seeking a results-oriented Maintenance Manager, with core responsibility for the efficient management of our maintenance department. Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will: Manage and lead daily maintenance processes and operations. Manage all activities relating to preventative, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance and condition monitoring. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure timely implementation. Provide leadership, coaching, training and development for maintenance team members. Monitor, inspect and troubleshoot equipment, machinery, facilities and systems, and take corrective actions as needed. Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, including routine stock counts. Manage maintenance work flow and ensure proper allocation of duties. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of operations and ensure compliance with standard regulations. Respond to emergency repairs and related disruptions of equipment and facility, with urgency. Manage maintenance related cost, set budgets and optimize financial resources, without compromising quality. Be integral in overseeing capital projects, equipment retooling and other improvement activities. Create and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency across departments. Ensure compliance to quality, food safety and occupational health & safety regulations. Provide periodic reports to the General Manager and the Board of Directors, including recommendations to optimize uptime and reliability of the companys resources.
