Mercy Corps is a non-religious, non-profit, and non-governmental international humanitarian organization.

Mercy Corps is seeking qualified contractors for the renovation of an existing building at Bull Bay Football Club, Bull Bay, St. Andrew, Jamaica. This activity forms part of the PRIME Project, which focuses on strengthening community resilience across Caribbean countries, including Saint Lucia, Nevis, St. Croix, and Jamaica. The project supports the establishment of Resilience Hubs — community-based spaces designed to enhance preparedness, response, and recovery capacities while promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The Bull Bay Football Club Resilience Hub is intended to serve as a multi-purpose, climate- resilient community facility designed to support emergency preparedness, response coordination, and sustainable community development initiatives.

The selected contractor will provide all labour, supervision, materials, plant, equipment, transport, temporary works, setting out, shop drawings, coordination, testing, commissioning, training, authority approvals, warranties, as-built records and all incidental works necessary for the complete renovation of the existing building at Bull Bay Football Club to be used as a Resilience Hub.

Based on the prescribed scope of works, interested contractors should demonstrate:

• Experience in successful completion of renovations of comparable building, including considerations for coastal exposure and climate resilience.

• Availability of qualified key personnel and subcontractors, including but not limited to a Project Manager, Site Engineer, MEP/Solar Specialists, HSE Officer, Foremen.

• Adequate cash flow, equipment resources, insurance capability, and the ability to sustain project delivery through completion.
