|Archbishop of York visits
DIOCESE of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands is currently hosting the
Archbishop of York, the Most Revd. Rt. Hon. Dr. John Sentamu, Primate
of England and his wife Margaret.
His visit is in recognition of the 200th anniversary of the Abolition
of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. It will also provide an opportunity
for members of the Anglican Communication and others to be introduced
to Archbishop Sentamu who is widely acclaimed as a crusader for
justice and equality, inspired by Christ's teachings.
