Roving With Lalah: Trotting
through Chapelton |
Robert
continues his journey around Jamaica and last week he stopped in
Chapelton.
"In the centre of the town called Chapelton in Clarendon,
Millicent Gunther is waiting on a taxi. She is a meagre, little
woman who celebrated her 82nd birthday only a week ago. Much to
the chagrin of her centenarian husband, William, she refuses to
wear the spectacles prescribed for her a few years back, and so
now she squints her way through her daily activities. She's holding
two large, black plastic bags and leaning on a wall."

Record-high stop-overs for '07
winter tourist season |
Against
the background of a year that began soft, Jamaica's 2007 stop-over
arrivals will record a new high, as a result of an anticipated 200,000
visitors that are expected to visit the island in December, Minister
of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett told Hospitality Jamaica.
This is good news for Jamaica. Read more about this in Hospitality
Jamaica at http://hospitalityjamaica.com/
