Hobbies:I enjoy reading for knowledge and enjoyment. I am fascinated with numbers and so I gravitate to Sudoku puzzles very regularly. I love to do Indian Dancing, Chinese Fan Dancing and Gospel Dancing. Playing video games and board games with my brothers.
Motivation for entering Miss Universe Jamaica 2017? : It has always been a dream and goal of mine to do so. I am aware of the impact that I can have on nation building. I know that I can help to improve the standard of living and quality of life for the less fortunate, the sick and needy. To whom much is given much is expected, and I have been blessed with a host of opportunities. I feel as it is my stewardly duty to give back to who I can, when I can and wherever I can.
What is your most unusual experience?: I must say that, this was unusual as well as embarrassing for me as well. I remember I went to IHOP in Florida with my family. I went to use the bathroom after I ate. There was an aisle like a runway leading from my table to the bathroom door. I have a little bit of OCD so before I used the toilet, I lined that seat with toilet paper like I was icing a cake. When I was finished I cleaned up pretty well. As I left the bathroom, walking down the “run way” some waiters were looking at me with such bright grins and the happiest faces I have ever seen. Trust me I did not fail to grin back at them. When I got back to my table, my little brother shouted out “Sue, mi like you wedding trail, ah when you married?” when I looked down at my feet I saw a long trail of toilet paper stuck onto my shoes. It was unusual as well as embarrassing for me. Even to this day I still laugh at myself.
Describe your proudest/happiest moment: One of my proudest moments was when I graduated at the top of my batch. It was also the happiest for me because my family was there to share my joy. I know the sacrifices my parents had made to afford me a good education was not an easy task, and I am more than grateful and will forever be indebted to them.
