Jamaica through to women's 4X100 relay final, Bahamas disqualified

Jamaica is through to the final of the women's 4X100m relay final.
The Jamaican quartet of Carrie Russell on the first leg with Kerron Stewart on the second, Schillonie Calvert on third and Sheri-Ann Brooks anchoring, recorded a time of 41.87.
The Bahamas team which had won heat two, was disqualified, with the win then going to Great Britain.
The Bahamas' disqualification is reported to be on rule 163.3(a), a lane violation.
The United States won heat three in 41.82.
The 4X100 relay final which will run at 9:10 a.m will also feature Trinidad and Tobago as one of the losers with the fastest times.
