A mother is now facing charges for two counts of aiding and abetting rape and two counts of cruelty to a child, in a case where her 15-year-old daughter is allegedly the victim.

According to detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, their investigation revealed the mother aided and abetted the act when she allegedly held her daughter and allowed a man, known to the victim, to have sexual intercourse with her.

The investigation continues.
