Western Bureau: The family of missing 41-year-old accountant, Rupert Lynch, is blaming the MoBay Hope Medical Centre, in Rose Hall, St. James for his disappearance.

Lynch, an employee of Amstar Destination Management Company reportedly went missing last at approximately 1:00am, Wednesday, June 6, while under observation at the medical centre.

"He was taken to the centre at approximately 11:00pm on Tuesday night, and by 1:00am Wednesday, while under observation he reportedly left the facilities and has not been seen since," his sister Suzimae Pryce told The Gleaner.

Pryce says the medical facility has refused to take responsibility for her brother's disappearance while in their care.

Responding to the accusations, a MoBay Hope spokesperson says she was not in a position to comment owing to client confidentially. "We cannot discuss this case as per the laws of Jamaica," she said.

Reports from the family is that Lynch, who worked for several years with Sandals Resorts International as an accountant, started acting strangely last Monday, stating that he saw persons following him wherever he went.

Lynch, was reportedly also reluctant to have his family stay around him, stating that there were persons out to hurt him.

"But he has no history of mental illness," argues his sister.

Lynch is 6ft one inch tall and is of dark complexion. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the nearest police station or call 119.
