Spray patching programme underway
The National Works Agency (NWA) says phase 6 of its spray patching programme is now underway.
Communications Manager, Stephen Shaw said 10,000 square metres of roadway is expected to be patched within the next 3 to 4 weeks.
However, he said most of the targeted roadways are in the Kingston Metropolitan Area.
He said the spray patching programme will cost more than $10 million.
In the meantime, Shaw said a flood mitigation programme is also underway in Manchester.
He said the programme involves the cleaning of the Holmwood, Porus, Endeavour and Belair drains.
Shaw said the programme, which started yesterday, should be completed by next month.
