Jamaica’s Rosemarie Whyte clocked 50.41 to place third in the 400m Diamond League race in Zurich this afternoon.

American Sanya Richards-Ross won in 50.21 seconds, while Amantle Mutscho of Botswana was second in 50.33.

In Birmingham on Sunday, Whyte ran a season best 50.20 to win her first Diamond League meet.
