The United States secured a consolation this afternoon winning the men’s 4X100m relay at the Diamond League meet in Zurich in 38.02 weeks after placing second to Jamaica at the London 2012 Olympics.

The Jamaican team of Jason Young, Mario Forsythe, Warren Weir and Kemar Bailey-Cole had to settle for second this evening with a clocking of 38.19.

Great Britain (38.30) was third.
