Holness resumes islandwide tour
Opposition Leader Andrew Holness has resumed his tour of the island as the Jamaica Labour Party seeks to reconnect with party workers and supporters.
The tour, dubbed Operation Connect, started in July but was placed on hold as the country celebrated its 50th year of Independence.
Speaking to JLP workers in North Western St. Ann yesterday, Holness reiterated the party’s support for free health care and free education.
Holness also admitted that the JLP did not do all that was necessary politically to make its policies work.
