Several persons were injured and taken to hospital for treatment this morning, following a motor vehicle accident along the Highway 2000 toll road in Portmore, St Catherine.

It is understood that a taxi overturned near the vicinity of the Free Zone complex injuring about five passengers on board.

The crash has caused a massive build-up of traffic along the busy highway going into Kingston.
